Garment end of life solutions

Stuff4life

Stuff 4life use a patent-pending chemical recycling process engineered for circularity. This is the best choice for high visibility clothing, as garments can be recycled regardless of how dirty or worn they are (often pitfalls to mechanical recycling), and do not need to be sorted in varying colours.

Stuff4life’s process is proven to work  and is used to process 100’s of kgs of product, and they continue to scale up. More investment is needed to scale this further – there is huge potential to support a project that will bring a circular process on a large scale.

No contract, pay by weight, not by bin lift.

Leo Workwear sent Stuff4Life samples for chemical recycling with excellent results:

Stuff4life, working with StaySafe PPE offer a service that aims to result in the smallest amount of waste possible, offering services that increase the life of the product drastically –

  • Washing for re-use

  • Repair, rebrand or even de-branding of garments

  • Re-sale through a “Second Time Shop” of anything you don’t want back

  • Repurpose – using garments to be made into other products

  • Recycle – once all other avenues have been exhausted, Stuff4Life will recycle the product using their patent-pending depolymerisation process.

  • Re-manufacture – the recovered monomers are used to make new good-as-new polyester to be used all over again.

  • No-Landfill policy means that even non-polyester components and reject material will be sent for energy recovery and solvents recovered and used again.

No contract, pay by weight, not by bin lift.

When talking about garment end of life, recycling should be the absolute last resort, there are many other processes available…
